Press Release

William Shearburn Gallery is excited to announce an exhibition of drawings entitled Drawn by Sculptors.

Drawings literally are the art or technique of representing an object or outlining a figure, plan, or sketch by means of lines. Featured in this exhibition are works on paper created by artists who use sculpture as their primary medium.  Numerous works in this show explore the relationship between two and three-dimensional works, the drawing functions as the study for the final work. Other works exist independently, having no direct correlation with three-dimensional work, or sculpture.

The exhibition will open on September 19, 2008 with a reception from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and continue through October 25.
